A special route (called the ‘passerelle’ or ‘gateway’) has been mapped out for ITAA members who were registered on 30 September 2020 in the records kept by the BIBF and are therefore currently accountants or tax accountants. The legislator has set out a very specific examination programme for them, but even so they do have to take a written and oral examination before they can take the oath to bear the title of certified accountant or tax advisor.

IAB and BIBF trainees have also transferred to ITAA and are following the paths set out for them.

Those accountants and tax accountants who want to acquire the title of certified accountant must enrol via the ITAA-portal.
